Shuriken Kage Bunshin was only used to help deduce Obito's Black Orbs. It wasn't meant as a lethal attack on him.

i think hes just a casualty of story development, im not sure, but im guessing kishi wasnt expecting to make his characters to reach god like levels when he first started, so flaming shurikens were supposed to be badass back than lol

If he let them into the space with everyone, things would be different. Hashirama was pissed at what Tobirama did. Orochimaru had a point on it. They felt secluded and blamed of the Kyuubi attack. They should have all left and made their own village.
