Honest Question, Why does everyone dislike Sakura?

She was a complete ***** in part 1. Other than when she lied to Naruto, I liked her in part 2.

Story was about Naruto trying to be acknowladged. Sasuke had that. Naruto was the black sheep of the village, children of his age group like Sakura didn't bothered with him. He was alone, and as the story progressed he started gaining acknowladgment as he get from Sakura. Sakura was also one of Naruto's target to conquer.
Without realizing this you're trying to judge her character, thats just sad.

Sakura had to be Sasuke's fangirl in order to create a situation for Naruto to win her. Not romantical way, the way he won Iruka he needed to win Sakura too. That was what Naruto's character about. As the main character, other characters are being created to fit his story, hating a character for her starting point is a silly reason.

And what is this comparing Temari, Tenten and Sarada with Sakura ? Thats just plain weak man. Tenten didn't even know Naruto as she was older, Temari was from another village and Sarada, really Sarada ? You're just a silly kid who couldn't get over the fact that Sakura has been mean to Naruto, grow up dude Obito killed the guys parents he is a better target for you to hate

Are you some kind of idiot? Comparing Sakura to other girls who are the same age and who grew up in the same village is the mindset that represent a girl in Konohagakure. It has nothing to do with Naruto, or Sakura and Naruto. Everyone in Konohagakure knew Naruto was a troubled child, yet no one mistreated him in the way in the K11. Not even the boys. Sarada actually is growing up with more on her plate than what Sakura ever had growing up, and when you compare their characters. Milestones. Freaking milestones.

I didn't use to dislike her, but I've developed that distaste when I realized that she's a member of team 7 solely for the sake of being a member of team 7. You could remove her from the plot, and it'd still progress the same. Her importance is actually fairly minor outside of the first arc of part 2. It's easily confirmed that she's sloppy over all, and can't keep up as Naruto and Sasuke's teamate at all. Yet, Kishi has to force her participation simply to keep with the teamwork theme. Kishi should have made a teamate that is actually able to keep up with Naruto and Sasuke, or none at all, and Sakura should have been a side character and not a main. Sakura has the performance of a side character while being one of the MCs.

HOnestly i dont see why just they dont overlook her literary flaws to see a genuine character. She is useless so they say. SHe falls short as the main heroine so they say. She is annoying so they say. But what gives.

Sakura is subjected to hate. But doesnt that make her a good character? I hate her for the way she is. But it is enough to love seeing her step up her game everytime she falters. Just accept that this isnt your literary work and enjoy the work of someone you once considered great

Lol, I don't agree with you on some stuff, but we share the exact same opinions on Sakura. That's good to know.
This guy just doesn't get it, by saying Sakura HAD to be Sasuke's fangirl he's stripping away her agency and her potential importance as her own person lmfaoo these are the signs of a bad character the irony is hilarious.

Making a thread asking "Why do people hate this character" will only have negative consequences.

As for me, Its simple. She's failed as a main character. She didn't live up to what is expected of one of the characters leading a story as huge as Naruto and not only has the worst character development I've seen in any manga, but sends a very bad message to young females out there.

Because she's pathetic despite being a main character and people find it hilarious how she falls in line with many stereotypes pertaining to woman in general. She is fun to hates and laugh at, and if she ever did happen to be useful people would get pissed and hate her even more for not being the failure they view her as.

Sakura is just simply not a very well written female character as she could have been. I think Kishimoto did an OK job trying to develop her when all she had was her intelligence and medic skills however he failed to develop Sakura in a way where she branches off on her own and is not another Tsunade 2.0 .

Part 1- She is was just the lowest of the low... I mean TenTen was looking better for the female MC position
Part 2- She was doing good at the beginning but then Kishimoto failed to give her any major assets till the war arc in which her power up she wasn't shown working for till that very moment. I think if Kishimoto showed Sakura training, working and etc like he did with Naruto then she would have been better.

Then there is the whole Sasuke thing. I personally dont think whether she got over Sasuke or not is important but it's how she came to accept Sasuke back(Naruto is expected because... It's f-cking Naruto) but it would have been better if she didn't just accept apology but I guess her waiting 100+ centuries for Sasuke to return can suffice.

It's a lot of reasons why people dont like her.

I don't mind her for the most part, but there are times when she can grate on my nerves. Case in point in the current chapter- I get that Sasuke and Sarada are family but she seriously doesn't even acknowledge Naruto being there until he points it out? He was like an after thought to her and that's something that bugs me.
