Honest Question, Why does everyone dislike Sakura?

No one's talking about fighting or martial prowess were talking about CHARACTER stuff: motivations, development, plot relevance, likeability, these are the things good/likeable characters are made of all things Sakura isn't. Don't get me wrong fighting ability can be tied into character development but in Sakura's case it's very shallow.

She was a really bad character, especially by the standards of the role of a main character. She redeemed this by the war arc, but remained badly written, specifically with her relationship with Sasuke.

She just remained stagnant compared to the other main characters, Naruto and Sasuke had changes in their ideals and had understandable to a point motivations to reach an end goal. Sakura on the other hand revolved around Sasuke even though she was a far better character when not around Sasuke.

Dude, the very fact that we still don't know why Sakura likes Sasuke makes her love for him shallow in the eyes of readers. This is an easy problem to fix that was never even addressed, why do you think so many people hate the sasusaku pairing and consider it the worst? Sakura's biggest problem as a character is her love for Sasuke, it's what caused her to manipulate Naruto's feelings with that BS confession, It makes Sakura look retarded for continuing to love him even after murder attempts, and it makes Sakura's character all about Sasuke instead of about herself. I mean how many times has she said "Sasuke-Kun" in the manga? These are some of the reasons I don't like her lol I have more.

She did have goals and motive's but they were completely dependent on Naruto and Sasuke and not herself. She didn't even have a cliche goal of being the best medic all she wanted to do was catch up to them and that's not compelling at all.

But then again a lot of secondary characters has much better development than her...
I don't get how and why she have a fan base???

I personally never hated Sakura's character, but I did find her irritating because she was hypocritical. Her obsession with Sasuke seemed completely selfish; she would stop at nothing to get what she wanted from him. It came across as fake concern/love. She rejected Naruto in a heartbeat, just like Sasuke rejected her, but it seemed to me like she only wanted to be with Sasuke to complete herself. She would put herself at risk over Sasuke, forcing Naruto and Kakashi to put themselves in unnecessary danger too. For a character who is supposedly gifted intellectually, she made some of the dumbest moves. She was good in the War Arc though.

I think she's a fine character.

People don't hate her, they hate what Kishi has done with her.

She started as a fairly strong character, but she never got the same character development as Sasuke or Naruto. She doesn't have equal strength with them and she's become a stereotypical needy damsel in distress. They think Kishi failed spectacularly with Sakura and made her a weak, unimportant character.
