I do. I just don't watch ongoing anime. I don't like waiting. Especially in Naruto with the fillers.

What's the second season about? Is it about
The seed that Kirito received from Kayaba?

Partially. Throughout the entire season Kirito is working on it but it's split between

taking down Death Gun in GGO, finding Excalibur in AOL, and Asuna working with the sleeping knights in AOL.

It's good imo, some people don't like it, but it's their opinions, as long as you like it, your own opinion is all that matters. :)
I also think Asuna & Kirito are a cute couple. ^^

What chemistry? What depth?

Their romance had no depth. They just fell in love suddenly one episode after they met up again. There was no build up or anything. Then the author took her away from him and stuck her together with a rapist and made him ''rape'' her in front of Kirito so that Kirito would get angry and kill the rapist, which would make the fans happy that the ''big bad rapist'' died and Kirito saved his girlfriend.

That isn't heart-warming. That's such on obvious attempt at trying too hard to make something seem heart-warming. SAO is so mediocre, I actually find it funny that people think it's better than most of the typical harem anime out there.

Nothing wrong with enjoying it though. Not like anyone here never enjoyed an average series.

Already at the part towards
Finding Excalibur
It's slowly losing my interest, but I still enjoy it.

Extremely overrated IMO.

It's your opinion, and I don't blame you for season 2. First part of season 1 is where it made me really like it, but like I said, I'm still enjoying it even though it's not really SAO anymore.

It did have depth, I might have gone too far on worshiping the KiritoxAsuna relationship, but it's a good relationship and I find it better than most relationships in anime. It didn't start after they met up again, a couple more meet ups and it started building as she partied up with him on dungeon raids, quests etc.

@2nd Bold

LOL is all I have to say. You would do the same thing if you found out a crazy rapist is after your girl and is forcing her to love him. That's like the epitome of cliche things in a relationship, to save your lover from things like that. There is no logic in that statement.

@3rd and 4th Bold

It is heart-warming, actually. NaruxHina isn't heartwarming because for the entire series Hinata was stalking Naruto and all her scenes was "Naruto-kun", and don't get me started on Sakura. Those are just examples of over exaggerated relationships that people worship and consider "Heart-warming", but don't get me wrong. I adore NaruxHina and I prefer that over NaruxSakura.

Most other harem anime out there is completely bogus IMO. For example Rosarie Vampire is completely trash. I'm sure I'm not the only one who agrees. Deadman Wonderland was a great short anime, but defiantly no love that I see that's strong going on there, even though it isn't harem.

SAO is overrated towards season 2 because it's different with useless antagonists. For example, Death Gun is a terrible villain.

If you find something a good couple, that doesn't mean it has depth. They're in love with each other, and that's it. They don't have any depth what so ever. To put it simple, they suddenly started falling in love with each other and there was literally no reasoning behind, they just simply did. That's not deep nor is that good build up.

Or you simply completely missed out the point I was making. I'm not using real life logic. I'm criticizing a series on it's writting quality.

This is a fictional story and the guy's lover was put together with a rapist so that he could rape her in front of the guy and the guy would then kill off the rapist, paying him back for what he did. That isn't heart-warming for a fictional story. That is a rather such a desparate attempt to make something try to seem heart-warming.

That's a completely different thing than a heart-warming scenario. It's ridiculously obvious that the author put her in that situation because he was trying too hard to 'cause half-assed drama and make a ''heart-warming'' scene.

NaruxHina? NaruxSaku? Horrible couples. Had no build up, depth what so ever, and even the author himself actually admitted that he can't write romance at all. Being better than any of Kishimoto's couples is like being better than trash, but just because some trash is better than other trash doesn't mean that said trash itself isn't trash either compared to other things.

Asuna x Kirito are far from the best couple because their romance and characters are generic. It's the type of romance you can find in every other romcom or harem series.

SAO could be considered a harem to a point, as well. SAO's quality isn't better than most harem anime's. It has average action, average romance, generic characters and typical villains. Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance, Ore no Kanojo, Saenai Heroine, etc. are all as good, possibly even better than SAO. And they're all harems that people in general think are bad.

SAO is overrated towards season 2 because it's different with useless antagonists. For example, Death Gun is a terrible villain.

Death Gun's quality wasn't any lower than the Fairy King's and the dude that created SAO. Granted, the dude that created SAO might have been a bit better villain than both, but in general, when compared to other manga/anime villains all three are incredibly bad.

What makes people love each other? That's the question. It would be pretty dumb for an author of one of the most popular light novels in Japan right now to just hook two characters up with no reasoning behind it. I don't fully understand what you're saying, or maybe you don't approve of KiritoxAsuna, but that'd be a given since you don't fully appreciate SAO in general so I'm going to just leave that statement at that. I'm not going to argue, compared to many other popular anime couples, aka Naruto for example.

-sigh- x23453425 + -facepalm-

Asking any women they would find it heart-warming when a man is rescuing his loved one from a crazy rapist. I don't need to argue as well for this because there is no logic. You would do the same and that's that. It's not because that arc nor the antagonists was desperate. In relationships you're always going to be fighting to keep that mate with you. A guy will always come up to your girl and try to hit on her, it's life.

@1st Bold, you just proved my statement prior so I don't see why you needed to continue that. lol

@2nd Bold, compared to a lot of other anime's out there, they are decent. I will fight to grave with that belief, it's true too. Eh, sort of. Most other harem anime's I've seen aren't any better.

Okay, so a PK guild that is still around towards the third arc, what? Second season (can't quite remember, wasn't my favorite arc) from SAO is still around making trouble for Kirito again. It's a poorly made up antagonist, but you're right Fairy King is just as worse. Kayaba was the antagonist that made SAO for the first part of season 1 really good. He shouldn't be stooped down to any others level, but obviously they're not the best villains compared to other anime that's self explanatory.

Yeah man, this is one of those rare times where I like a pairing. Too bad those sort of things do not and in fact cannot, exist.

Couldnt finish it.
Most episodes felt like filler, the part where they were looking out for a kid made me cringe, the girl who at the start was a mysterious badass just became another female that hides behind her op boyfriend. Also the fact that going through the bosses etc was done off screen was so dumb...
