Do you guys think the chikara arc was an original idea for a naruto movie. by the war it flowed and felt, it was on par with Road to ninja, and the first shippuden movie(its animation was pretty near identical, and the guardians of the crescent moon.

so do you think the Chikara arc was supposed to be a movie? but instead they divided it into several parts and made it a filler arc?

It was probably why it was so sub-par a movie that it was instead released in episodes. The story was too mushy-gushy and it took 3/5 of the arc to actually receive good action.

Agreed... could have been originally planned for movie.. and when they finished it.. too bad that they realized it sucked and used it to fill up the anime
