Hokori seems to be cold at times scaring anybody who passes beyond him. His Justus are his only 'friends'. He states that he doesn't want friends unless his father plays with him, the stubborn part. He cared for his former friends, being the supportive person in the group, his compassionate side.

In Hokori's younger days, he would always hide in the shadows or behind trees. His father never came home that much, making him angry. Usually he would burn many trees down, or even furniture. His faults made him become feared, and his graded rankings became higher - but he didn't use them much.
During Hokori's time, he began to manipulate his emotions and deny other people. It made him sound very ignorant, which then lead to being bold. His father, the fifth Kazekage, would come home every once in a while, cooking or just breathing fresh air.
