im just going to say what is my opinion. theres room for justification but im going to say it how i can undertand it. people are just so confused and delusional and possibly just plan stupid but cant figure out which hokage is the strongest.

heres my order.

before hashirama hype it was:

minato

hiruzen(old)

hashirama

tobi

and tsunade


after hype and new information we learned on hashirama it goes:

hashirama

minato

hiruzen(old)

tobi and tsunade


real life order goes:

hashirama

hiruzen(prime)

minato

tobi

tsunade.

heres where alot of ppl get this confused.

minato wasnt the strongest hokage.

in terms of intellect and analyzing yes. follwed by either hiruzen or tobi.

in terms of potential, yes.

MINATO HAD THE POTENTIAL TO BE THE STRONGEST HOKAGE EVER!

but he died before he reached his prime. he was still young.

i know it hurts to hear the truth but its the truth. the truth hurts. you cant handle the truth i guess.

and for the people who are going to get butt hurt well let me just say this so you feel better.

give minato hashiramas abilities and chakra and he would be way above hashiramas level or hiruzen.

give minato hiruzens age and chakra and he would be way above hiruzens level and tied with hashi or maybe even stronger.

thats what i mean about his potential.

ill say if he lived for about 10 more years he wouldve surpassed hiruzen and hashirama and all other hokages.

shit i actually believe 5 years and he wouldve passed hiruzen.

hashirama on the other hand in terms of strength is by far the strongest character ever besides s06p, but i mean STRENTGH and ABILITIES.

once again minato had the POTENTIAL to surpass all the hokages.

I would put Minato as 4th strongest, behind Shodaime, Sandaime(Prime), and Nidaime.

good points, i don't think he could ever pass hashirama, the man was a genius, had a huge reservoir of chakra and abilities... I do believe hiruzen himself thought of minato as his superior or soon to be superior hokage, as shown by the respect hiruzen showed to minato.
as for tobirama we can't quite compare them yet.... and tsunade is obviously far beneath the other hokage xD

I don t know mine would have to be a tie for first hashi and tobi then the 4th and then hiruzen and tsunade only because hiruzen had to sacrifice himself to seal the edo hashi and tobi meaning they were badass even in his prime he probly would have had to do the same thing. Also the 4th a sacrifice but he is strong no argument their.

tobirama?? and the edos were being controlled at the same time by oro. he didnt know how to use them and their techniques. especially dividing his intention on both at the same time. Hiruzen in his prime wouldve lost horribly to hashirama and tobi in their prime
