Keep in mind that minato is the youngest here by like 20 years difference compared to Hashirama and Tobirama, I'd say he's got pretty good abilities. Fire, wind and lightning plus yin and yang and he's listed as a sage user

No surprise about Hiruzen and Tobirama. Both loved long and studied/created a lot.
