I agree with both of you on this. Minato is really good at fuuinjutsu so, sealing him shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand Minato isn't capable of weakening him to a state to which a seal is possible.

But naaah. Madara might be a bit stronger than hashirama now. Well, in a 1 vs 1 that is. But against any non-mokuton user. . He's a hell of a lot stronger than before.
