thats not really wise...gaara said once to him...they are not kids anymore..i get the point that he has matured a lot.. but if i had to chose i would chose kakashi. as i said, he is a pretty intelligent overall good guy..perfect for being a leader(except for the fact that he comes late and doesnt even want to be hokage^^) naruto did a very wise thing in those panels..i agree with that one completely and cant say anything against it..however he still is too young...

The guy can solely defend the village clones and if not, empower the entire village. Few would dare to attack Konoha= more time to prosper.
However, I do think it will be Kakashi, and Naruto some protector of the world. Or he dies, along with Sasuke.

Gaara however was younger. And if you think Gaara is more mature then Naruto.. the guy who actually changed Gaara, then the whole argument is a fail.
See people get Naruto's personality confused with his intellect and wisdom.
Look at Goku, Monkey D. Garp, Shunsui, Hashirama, Shanks and many others. They don't want to be serious all the time.

Agreed but the amount of things he's done and said doesn't really balance with what he said there.He said that none of his friends will die and also clinging onto Sasuke when clearly he wants to go on a different path.Sometimes you gotta let go man even Jiraiya said it was foolish.

Hashirama has experience and also leadership something Naruto lacks.Naruto will be Hokage (manga fact) but atm he isn't fit the hokage seat yet.

Both would be great as Hokage. People tend to ignore all the tactics Naruto came up with in fight such as Pain and Zabuza. His intelligence is actually pretty high. He just acted stupid in his youth to gain attention. Which is why we keep thinking he's an idiot. It's probably hard to take him seriously considering his previous behavior, but he's grown up now.
Kakashi doesn't even want to be Hokage though, he thinks he's unworthy himself. Both would be great Hokage, but I'm going to say Naruto, just because of the fact Kakashi isn't interested in the title. Also, Naruto has actually witnessed war now, which can change a person greatly.

I agree with you in all this, Naruto isn't immature in feelings but he was away from the village for 3 years and he is still a genin.With that I don't mean that he is not strong,or smart but he never really had a chance to lead a team in a mission and to see the risks,analyze the situation etc,etc (in the current arc he has a leading role but he has many other to instruct him and guide him).Part of the Hokage duties is to assign the missions and choose the teams that would be better at them.And that is something you learn from experience.In that part Naruto has still way to go.
