WHY?

here WHY!!!
(1) he obtain MANGEKYOU SHARINGAN even he is not an UCHIHA
(2) he is still alive after fighting various akatsuki: TOBI, pain, deidara, itachi, kakusu, kisame
(3) he could use all basic elements: fire, wind, water, earth and lightning
(4) he obtains Kubikiribōchō from zabuza
(5) he is a student of 4th hokage
(6) he was a sensei of most powerful ninja for the new generation: team 7

But I think Kakashi isn't Hokage material, he may have all the skills needed, but he needs the brains. I'm not saying he is stupid, I'm just saying he does not meet what it actually means to be a Hokage

He's not a descendant of the 4th Hokage... the 4th Hokage was his Sensei, not a family member.

I don't think he'd be suited for Hokage though, even if he was nominated before. He might end up being a good Hokage, but who knows.

Descendant = A person, plant, or animal that is descended from a particular ancestor.

Yeah, Minato isn't Kakashi's ancestor.

Fighting against:
Tobi - He's only just arrived at the fight.
Pain/Pein - Seem to recall him dying during the invasion.
Deidara - Deidara was not fighting Kakashi, just trying to lure Naruto away.
Itachi - Not a true fight just for show.
Kakuzu - Was about to have his heart ripped out at one stage.
Kisame - Are you referring to shortly after the third hokage's death? Itachi made Kisame retreat.

Just because he has some impressive battle feats doesn't make him the best option for the hokage position. While I agree he would've made a good hokage this mainly comes from his guidance and reputation amongst the leaf and other villages rather than straight strength.


Regardless there wasn't much point to this reply since you will have undoubtedly made several more pointless threads by the time I've finished typing this.

Wow, I think most would agree it's the other way around - he ertainly has the brains but not the skills, i mean when compared to the other hokages that came before.

At the moment he is without a doubt the fittest for hokage. Naruto has the battle strength but not the intellect.

I think that his wisdom would definitely play a role if he was chosen, as it is noticeable that he is a very smart ninja. However, against strong enemies such as the Akatsuki, he wouldn't be able to do much to save the village himself.

He definitely have the brain for it, but I think he need to be a bit more powerful like a stronger trump card than kamui because he can't sustain that tech for long. After 1~2 kamui sometimes 3 he will definitely left immobile or fainted even lol.

He is one of my favorite but I think he need gain another trump card tech that is consistently powerful.
because in order to be kage you need know how to shoulder tremendous amount of burden, and keep a clear head at all time. Which he does imo, he's intelligent, experienced ( been in previous ninja war ) and his sensei eventually became hokage.

I think he has what it takes but not just in term of raw power :\
