Jk, but I prefer Naruto as the next choice. I'm just not sure how trustworthy Sasuke can be... Maybe my mind will change once the war ends, but for now I'd want Naruto.

For Me it's either Kakashi or Shikamaru both are smart both are great Politicals(Wuld build Great military and economy)
But as manga says
Shikamaru is two weak to defend Willage against strong opponents and kakashi don't want to become one.So Naruto will become hokage at the end or will die by saving everyones Lives and Tsunade will stay Hokage....

Based on recent chapters, the will to become Hokage is stronger in Sasuke. Sasuke is more suitable because he is simply smarter and better than most people and he would have redeemed himself in this arc.

When Naruto got his chakra pulled out, he simply died.
But when Sasuke got stab, he still thought about the village in his dying moment.

To think Naruto proudly proclaim "I WONT DIE UNTIL I BECOME HOKAGE". Naruto certainly backtracked from his ninja way - sticking to his words.
