A pic that I stumbled across randomly. It mentions a date (I think it's the 7th of april) and a friend who is fluent in japanese told me that basically, it meant that the current itachi arc would end on this date?

I think that's a time indication and not a date indication. As in 7:25 pm (or am?). I remember seeing something like this before.

Well, next episode is called "moonlit night" (airs on april 7th) and this is apparently the title of the last part of the novel so, it could very well be the last episode, depending on how they decide to stretch it of course.
