Hizashi Hyūga vs Shikaku Nara

Hizashi needs to get close to Shikaku because he uses Taijutsu, so there won't be much trouble in getting him caught in Shikakus shadows.

Why not Hiashi Hyuuga? Not much is known about Hizashi. Anyways, I'd go with the Hyuuga. Just like Neji can beat Shikamaru U_U

The Byakugan can cut through chakra. He'll be able to cut the 3D Shadows just like Neji was able to cut Kidomaru's web. It's the same thing.

Thats like saying he can cut through a fireball jutsu or shinra tensei because they are both made from chakra. He can't cut his shadows and if im wrong, give me proof from the manga.

He can't cut regular shadow and once he's caught in that, he can't cut the Sewing shadow and he dies ._.

True, I don't think he can cut 2D shadows. As for your other statement, that's like saying, once Shikaku is caught in the Eight Triagrams he loses. Obviously.

i love the hyugas a lil bit of a fan boy for them honestly-felt they getting a raw deal in naruto (wats the deal only sharing an rennigan getting props n evolution ? - BUT i wud hav to give this to shikaku nara out of pure intelligence,cus he can make a hundred possible battle plans whilst staying out of hyuga's reach n dodging waterer long range attacks he has. he dud prob let it drag on frustrate hisashi then *checkmate* srry hyuga

He could cut the shadows like sewing shadow but the basic one , no
If he's immobilized by the first one, he can't cut the sewing one

He can't cut the ones that go along the ground or on objects, there is nothing in the manga that says he can. Kidomarus web and Naras shadows are so much different from each other.

How about not getting caught in them?

Staying out of range, if they do is try and get you with their shadows then eventually they will run out of chakra and its easy after

Or hyuga just blitzs him right away with taijutsu and doesn't let the nara make his hand signs

Just because he can plan a 1000 scenarios doesn't mean he wins by default. He probably won't be able to execute all of them.

What if he's the smartest? You can't rely solely on intelligence, if what you're saying is true, then he can beat anybody in Narutoverse by planning out a 1000 strategies. No.

Dude, 2D Shadows are extremely easy to avoid, that's like Shadow Imitation and such..baby jutsus. The 3D ones are the dangerous ones and the Byakugan can cut through that. Besides, say that he is caught in a 2D shadow and then Shikaku uses that Shadow Sewing technique (3D), the Hyuuga can emit chakra from any point in their body without moving, just like Neji did against Kidomaru. This would render Shikaku's 3D shadow useless.

that's the reason hidan got caught by shika and dragged to the forest

But sadly fighting wise, shika can't beat kiba in fight
