Looks: Hitoshi is 6’2” and slightly muscular. His red hair goes just past the ears, but is maintained in the front for visibility. Brown eyes that seem to always stare past the person he’s looking at, matching the lack of expression in his face. Always wears a somewhat dark, brown/green trench coat that hangs just below the knee made of a thick, rugged fabric. The coat is worn open unless the weather’s very cold; shuriken and kunai knives are kept on the inside for quick access.
His shirt and pants are a lighter shade of brown, but still as plain as the blank stare on Hitoshi’s expression. He sometimes wears shorts despite having a long coat, but again this depends on the weather, and no matter what they're always cargo. Prefers geta shoes, always has at least one hand in his pants pocket if not both and usually has a long, grass straw in his mouth.
Personality: Extremely laid back, never gets excited about anything in any way. Said to have no personality, which is his personality. The last expression that could ever cross Hitoshi’s face would be fear or anger, but no one has ever seen him smile either; though he sometimes smirks in amusement when nobody’s looking.
Preferring to be a loner, he has no friends, despite the fact that most people he knows consider him one. Hitoshi speaks only when necessary, and doesn’t like long conversations at all. If a question can be answered with a nod of the head, that’s what he’ll do.

Background Info.
History: Hitoshi Sekai was found by farmers one day, an older couple who had no children. He had been left at their doorstep without even a note or explanation, so they took him in and raised him as their son. They named him for his attitude, Hitoshi means “even-tempered or level”, it also seemed fitting with their last name, Sekai, which means “world”. As an infant the boy never cried once, and when hurt as a child he never expressed the feeling of pain. Always obedient, he was the perfect son, and a child that the husband and wife couldn’t have.
He grew up to be indifferent; nothing ever concerned him, not even when his “parents” told Hitoshi that he wasn’t really their son. The only reason he even decided to try and become a shinobi was purely because his father told him to, and he always did what his parents told him to. Mr. Sekai knew that the boy could be much more than a farmer, he saw potential in him, and didn’t want it to be wasted. As dangerous as the life of a ninja can be, and as much as they’d miss having him at home, they put aside their personal feelings for the sake of Hitoshi’s future.
It wasn’t long before the boy took a liking to the training, and even after much struggle and frustration that would make any normal kid give up, he finally pushed through. Not being gifted in any one thing, it made his advancement to Genin much more difficult. Also this means that Hitoshi focuses on being balanced, as he always has.
