maybe izuna has possesed him or something along those lines, so infact he would know him, and they were tobis/obitos/izunas eyes from base so id say tht izuna just took his original eye back when he found nagatos body.

Back when long haired Tobi showed Kisame his face, he said he was Madara and told him about the moons eye plan, then way later they are in Akatsuki and Tobi takes of his mask again and shows Kisame, and Kisame says so you were Tobi...Mizukage-sama or rather Madara-san.
