History twistedly repeating itself?

I was thinking earlier this morning about how Sakura and Tsunade are alike.. I figure Sakura is going to be the next hokage in my mind but out of naruto and Sasuke she's never loses anyone close to her to devastate her to smarten up her act and be useful sorry sakura fans,

Tsunade lost Dan and I forget the little guys name.
Naruto lost his family among others
Hinata lost her cousin
Sasuke lost his clan and brother

Mainly all the main characters have lost something precious to them.. I figure.. Possibly both naruto her brother figure and Sasuke her lover will both be killed during the last battle.
That way I figure sakura finally HAS something to cry about- and possibly learn from, then pursuing the title of hokage?

EDIT: To clear up what I meant, Its tiresome to see false statements such as, "Sakura is useless" when she's more useful than quite a lot of characters; that's including Ino and Hinata.

for history to repeat itself in this sense in order for sakura(tsunade) to become Hokage Naruto(Jman) would have to first turn it down, and i just don't a him doing that.

No, I guess that Sasuke will become good after the fight with Naruto. He will just try to challenge Naruto to a fight again and win so that they are equal( just like how Vegeta tries to challenge Goku). And finally Sasuke will let Naruto be the Hokage( like how Jirayia let Tsunade be the Hokage!
