I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but I just wanted to toss out a different perspective on the whole Sarada, "who's my mom and Dad" thing. Since everyone seems to just be fighting over the DNA.

Anyone noticing a resemblance of how Sadara feels right now to how Sasuke felt as a child?

Parallel 1: (upbringing)
Sasuke lost his family, awakened the sharingan, cast off any help or affection from others. He was constantly lied to from adults about his family, and was hell-bent on seaking the truth (and killing Itachi)

Sadara just "lost" her family, awakened the sharingan, cast off any help or affection from others. She feels constantly lied to from adults about her family, and is hell-bent on seaking the truth.

Parallel 2: The eye that reflects feelings (Sharingan)
We know from Sasuke's talk with the 5 kage (Chapter 619) that "no other clan feels love as deeply as an Uchiha. When a member of the Uchiha knows love and loses it, it turns into an even stronger hate and changes that person. However that is an issue, their love is too strong and they can end up running wild. When they feel that loss special chakra sprouts inside their brains which awakens the sharingan. The sharingan aligns with the persons feelings and quickly makes the person stronger. Together with the hatred in their hearts. The deeper their darkness becomes, the more powerful their eyes get, and it's impossible to handle them.

For Sasuke: this was losing his family, and the hatred he felt towards Itachi, and eventually towards the Ninja World.

For Sarada: this is also about losing her perceived family, and the hatred she has towards her mom and dad.

Sarada is staring that hatred in the face right now. We've seen this same storyline play out time and time again throughout Uchiha history. She could easily follow in the footsteps of Sasuke and end up being a misguided antagonist of this series. I could very easily see her becoming much darker, and seeking power. The fact she has felt the loss and awakened the sharingan means she is already heading down this path. And she will need someone as stubborn as Naruto to pull her out from the darkness.

It feels to me like this whole debate on who the mother and father is, is just a way for Kishimoto to develop Saradas powers and give her a reason to grow stronger. Maybe she will willingly go to Shin for power and answers, just how Sasuke willingly went to Orochimaru for the same reason. Hell, maybe this is Sasuke's plan to help her grow stronger (unlikely but possible), just as Itachi did for him. Abandoning her, giving her a person to seek, a person to hate, a person to kill.

What do y'all think? Just my two cents, take it or leave it!

Sasuke is a fool for letting this happen.

How are you going to try to moderate the world when you can't even moderate your own daughter...?

I wish I could right TL;DR but I did read.

OT: I see the parallel, I'm sure it isn't Sasuke's plan
Yeah the parallel is strong, its a common occurence in Kishi's writing of Uchiha growth/development. I wonder what he will do with her now that hes opened up the possibilities.

^This! You think Sasuke would try to break that cycle knowing full well how it turns out given their genetics. I guess a large oversight on his part? If she does take a dark path, he just created his own demons

Based on this weeks manga, looks like I was half right. Sarada was ready to leave the village and discard any "family ties" she might have had. But naruto was able to pull her back down to earth before she got there, like how he wasn't able to do for Sasuke back then.
