There is a lot mystery about 8th gates not yet been explained.

1. Who is the founder of 8th gates?
2. Who is the sensei for Gai who teaches him 8th gates?
3. Anyone in the history of naruto used 8 gates and death?
4. Since madara know about the red stream that's mean he fought someone using 8 gate before?
5. If tobi is the one who create 8 gate why don't he use it when in edo? It faster than ftg I think.
7. Is 8 gate is the only tech tech without consuming chakra? Mean its the most powerful tech before kaguya consumes god's tree fruit?
6. If uzumaki clan use 8 gate, will him/ her. Prolong time to maintain or survived ? Since 8 gate consumes life force and uzumaki got the strongest life force.

I think the Senju Ancestor created the 8th Gate while the Uchiha Ancestor created Sage Mode. It would make sense.

I hope you're right, some history about the 8 gates would be perfect right now. We have no idea of its origin and I think it'd be interesting to get a little background on it, especially Madara knows about the red steam himself.

Maybe Madara faced someone who used the 8 gates before, perhaps Gai's ancestor. It would explain why Madara knows Gai from somewhere.

Without chakra you wouldn't have any 'chakra gates' to open.

And since madz knows the strength of the 8th gate, he must've fought it before he got revived (maybe even before he got EMS) and survived.

On another note: People need to calm tf and stop overrating Gai

Its highly possible that Madara fought and defeated a user of the Eighth Gate in the past. However, it may be that he wasn't able to do that alone and he received some help from his clansmen and his brother.

I poted this before I guess I will post it again.

Gai might not be faster than instant, but he could still be faster than Minato/Tobirama. Allow me to explain.

Minato/Tobirama is at point A. Point B is the kunai/the marker on Obito's back. Point C is Obito/Madara.

We know that Someone can't teleport inside someone so the teleport puts them within striking distance which can be anywhere from touching to a foot away. We also know that if he teleported and was touching Obito, he would need to draw his arm back and then punch/hit with Rasengan or whatever. Assuming he was ready to attack when he teleports he would probably need to be right around 4 inches away at least to allow for his arm to gain significant momentum to hit with any damaging force.

So if the time it takes for Minato/Tobirama to teleport to point B from point A is 0 seconds and the time it takes for his attack to get from point B to point C is lets say 50 milliseconds or .05 seconds. The total attack time is 0 + 0.05 = 0.05 seconds.

We also know that while Minato/Tobirama is faster than guy in terms of teleporting, there is no evidence that they can beat Gai in regular movement speed. So what I am saying is that if Gai can get from point A to Point B and then to point C in under .05 seconds then he is faster than Minato/Tobirama and can theoretically get hits in on Madara.

The time for Minato/Tobiramas attack doesn't relly matter but it has to take some amount of time. Basically what I am saying is that while Gai cant beat the teleport speed, he might be able to beat the total speed of the attack in the 8th gate.
