The only difference I believe this time is that one of them is going to die in their final showdown unlike Hashirama and Madara where he stole his DNA and ran?

I noticed that, too and pointed it out yesterday. I see history repeating, but since Naruto is always determined to change one's fate, he might be able to avoid this cycle.
