[Historic Battle]: Orochimaru Vs. Kakashi Hatake

[Nagato..]

Orochimaru has just infiltrated the Chuunin exams and his evil schemes were just getting started...After Kakashi was able to seal away the mark on Sasuke, Orochimaru confronted him. He made no attempt to hide his envy of Kakashi's Sharingan, and noted before leaving that Sasuke will eventually come to him seeking power.



Orochimaru: Oh Kakashi Hatake.. You know Sasuke's lust for power cannot be contained here in Konoha. He will eventually seek me out..

Kakashi after sealing the mark on Sasuke takes a second to catch his breathe, after using quite an amount of chakra, he then hears a sound of someone walking nearby, as he turns his attention to the intruder, he finds Orochimaru, being surprised from this sudden appearance of an internationally wanted missing nin, Kakashi lifts up his headband revealing his 3 Tomoe Sharingan as he says to Orochimaru what he will do to stop him from getting Sasuke.

"Even if i have to put my life on the line, i'll kill you Orochimaru!"​

Kakashi gets angry as he stares at Orochimaru, he concentrates lightning chakra into his right palm forming a Raikiri in it that's facing towards the ground, as he waits for Orochimaru's movement, he then finds his act reckless, which could put him and Sasuke at a disadvantage, he stops the Raikiri that's flowing in his right hand as he looks at Orochimaru intently.

"I'm aware that Sasuke has a dark side, everyone does, but he has Naruto, and the only one who can save him from the darkness is Naruto, Sasuke is not the kind of ninja to betray his comrades, he puts his life on the line to save them, which is something you will never know the meaning of."​

Orochimaru's eyes widen as Kakashi reveals his sharingan and his murderous intentions peak as he sees Kakashi perfoming his signature lightning blade. At all costs, Orochimaru must take advantage and take Sasuke-Kun back with him so he can mature his sharingan..


Orochimaru: I can see the hate in this poor Uchihas eyes. You are too late...Oh and I know more about you than you think Kakashi...do you really think you can save this one? You couldn't even protect your own team from falling apart ....Tsss...

Hearing these words from Orochimaru, Kakashi looks slightly down to the ground as his eyes then begins to wander, He starts to get flashbacks of his own past, how Obito died and gave Kakashi his Sharingan, and how Kakashi was forced to kill Rin according to a plan that failed from the Kirigakure hidden anbu ops, he has suffered many heartaches in his life, that's why he decided he was going to do all he can to make sure his comrades are safe, that's why he took this oath to go as far as to break the ninja rules and his own village's rules for the sake of his comrades' safety, Kakashi's eyes suddenly widen, as he reverts his face to Orochimaru, as he tells him how he's going to try and save Sasuke, no matter what it takes

"You can say all you want about Sasuke, as long as me and Naruto are here, and the will of fire still shines in our hearts and every Konohagakure ninja's heart, we will do all it takes to save Sasuke from his own sorrow, and ignite the hidden will of fire that rests deep inside Sasuke's heart."​

Kakashi starts to calmly walk towards Orochimaru's location, as he continues talking, his friend's precious lives ignite the will of fire that's inside of him, making him protect Konoha from any threats, no matter the costs or the consequences, it reminds him that this Shinobi world is filled with danger, however if it's within his power he will do all he can to save it and bring true peace.

"As long as there's darkness, there will be light, and rest assured that i won't make the mistakes i made with my friends in the past, they made me realize how much of a fool i was, but not anymore, Sasuke will be a valued Konoha shinobi, not a puppet for you to control for your selfish actions"

As Orochimaru throws the first two kunais, Kakashi summons a large windmill shuriken out of one of his summoning seals located around his wrists, summoned in a throwing mode already like how Sasuke did it with Itachi, Kakashi then proceeds to throw the shuriken, as the shuriken is released he uses his chakra to massively enlarge the shuriken, causing it to be bigger in size which will result in the destruction of the thrown kunai by Orochimaru and blocking the light that emanates out of the flash bomb.

(Ninpō: Kyōjin Shuriken no Jutsu) – Ninja Art: Giant Shuriken Technique

Due to Orochimaru running to either one of the right or left directions "since you didn't mention" he would evade the shuriken, Kakashi seeing Orochimaru's movements thanks to his 3 Tomoe Sharingan much slower than it actually is, so he prepares to use a diversion, he creates 3 illusionary clones out of himself to his sides, as he swaps with them, however to Orochimaru's eyes he wouldn't be able to tell the difference, however If Orochimaru somehow manages to throw it at the real Kakashi, he simply leans his body to his right side evading the kunai as it goes past him.

He continues jumping on the wall throwing another and running in your direction until he sees what appears to be shadow clones, once he sees them, he throws another flash bomb above you and with the other hand a smoke bomb unto the ground several meters infront of Kakashi and his clones.


Orochimaru: (Thinking): lets see him get past this..


He then bends his knees jumping off the wall performing a cartwheel in mid air, his cartwheel was done so that he glides across the smoke from the smoke bomb...while releasing a few snakes to rain down upon Kakashi binding him..

As Kakashi sees Orochimaru getting a flash bomb and a smoke bomb, he easily distinguishes between them since the flash bomb is covered in yellow wrappings while the smoke bomb has an orchid color, nonetheless one of Kakashi's clones jumps in front of Kakashi in order to block the light released from the flash bomb as it goes off, while closing his Sharingan, he then sees the smoke spreading and his vision is being disrupted of Orochimaru, Kakashi's clones disperse as he opens his Sharingan eye and looks through the smoke trying to find Orochimaru, he finds faint traces of Orochimaru's chakra since the smoke is not infused with any chakra, however he lets Orochimaru continue with his plan, as Kakashi summons 2 explosive tagged shuriken non active, into the air just a split second before he's wrapped with the snakes that bind Kakashi, as Kakashi is bounded his the snakes, he sends a surge of lightning energy through his hands which attacks the snakes dispersing them, however before dispersing them, the lightning travels through the snakes as they are capable of conducting the lightning, and get to Orochimaru, shocking him to some extent, like a second or two, this is a moderate surge not a very powerful one.

Then Kakashi uses his chakra to hover the explosive tagged kunais and then release them towards Orochimaru's direction as the explosive tags ignite, exploding into Orochimaru's body and hurting him, this is timed that just when Orochimaru is shocked by the lightning the tags explode, Kakashi then keeps his Sharingan fixated on you, looking towards your eyes.
