I believe Kishi inspires some of Orochimaru's characteristics from Hisoka. However, in core, they are extremely different. Hisoka is more relaxed and only wants to test his own limits. Orochimaru is power hungry and would go through anything to increase his power.
Also, Orochimaru has a bad case of butthurts.
