Well it can destroy all the buildings if hiruzen swings it around in a circle.....given that it can extend upto 25-30 km which is the radius of Konoha!! :whip:

He could. Did you see push Kurama out the village from Hokage's estate. Thats like around the center I think.

This issue can be resolved using basic Physics knowledge.

ST uses high amount of chakra and spreads it over a huge area (i.e. a village). A village poses no real resistance to it's power and is effortlessly wiped out. Now apply that same chakra on a smaller object (i.e. the Yang Kurama) but using the same way of spreading the power and you get a significantly weaker result.

The staff on the other hand focuses all it's power at 1 point - the end of the staff. It can be used to focuse all the energy or whatever on smaller and bigger objects alike (i.e. the whole of Kurama. Note: he only hit a small part of the body but the force was enough to move him away from the fillage).

Now the question: Is the Staff>ST? I wouldn't hastily label it stronger or better simply because it is a transformation jutsu. It could destroy a village 1 household at a time but it cannot match the blitzkrieg effect of the ST. And the devastation, caused by ST is mindboggling. So yes the Staff could theoretically destroy a village but is in no way superior to the ST.

But that is only my humble opinion.

He could just raise it upwards and swing it down full force. The rotational energy is enough to crack the village.

It would be the greatest kinetic energy weapon.
