Good chapter, almost made me forgive the plot hole and asspulls this arc. However I think there will be questions that will never get answered now.

Idk about you guys but Hiruzen did not come close to his hype and we'll NEVER get to see prime Hiruzen. Based off what Hiruzen has showed it's hard to say for sure he is stronger than Tsunade. Hes >=< Mei lvl imo from what was seen. Kishi skipped a big opportunity with Hiruzen, now we may never know how prime Hiruzen was, his fans have to make up jutsu.

Slug mode? I guess we'll have to assume is the 3rd sage mode with only Hashirama as the user.

Wish we could've seen or know all the kages abilities.

I'll never understand why people care so much about how powerful someone is. Hokage's aren't always the strongest anyway, look at Tsunade and Jiraiya.

It matters when the manga specifically states a character to be the strongest, only to have that statement contradicted at every turn.

Okay, I don't recall anyone saying Hiruzen was the strongest of all time. I remember people saying he was a very great shinobi, which isn't a lie.

Iruka stated Hiruzen was the strongest kage only for Hiruzen to correct him by saying not to speak in past tense, implying he is the strongest despite his age. But we may never know how powerful he really was since he's now gone.
