A lot of things are said a lot of things are forgotten by kishi. I personally dont remember where it said that but its obvious by the fact he couldnt break the edo tensei who are the strongest. Even tobirama was closer to breaking it then him(Oro had to use the senju cells). If that was said it is probably just hype. I thought i read somewhere they tried to say tsunade is the strongest of all the sannin and once again thats debatable.

Retcon. Don't follow a lot of the power rankings from part 1. The series changed direction in the timeskip and Kishi is retconning certain things such as God of Shinobi.

Difference is Orochimaru, Orochimaru treated Hiruzen as a washed away guy who was once called the god of shinobi or so. While he treated Hashirama as THE god of shinobi.

When I read the chapter for the first time, I thought Orochimaru said , "Its an honore for me to be raised by the God of Shinobi", I thought he was referring to Hiruzen. But then i reread it cause people on here were saying Orochimaru called Hashirama the god of shinobi, and then I saw it him saying, "Its an honor for me to be Praised by the God Of shinobi".
