Neither madara and obito could defeat them while hiruzen made the impossible is possible.
He made the solo king uchiha itachi go down and set in the ground like puppy because he knew the true king is nothing but saratubi sensei the professor who already mastered all konoha jutsu ..

I will provide you the best list that you have ever seen in your life of top10 strongest ninja of all time and I can counter your argument why he already surpassed those who below him in list.

1) hiruzen
2) itachi
3) hashirama
4) madara
5) naruto
6) tobirama
7) nagato

Hiruzen saratubi is so underrated because he doesn't have fans here since those stupid, annoying, brainless kids are thinking that he's an old and ugly looking and most of those brainless fans are fanboying the beautiful looking guy and that's only gays will do that while a real man like me can't deny saratubi's feats ..

he's far more powerful than any ninja in the series and I am not saratubi fan to be honest but I can't deny fact that he proof to us that he's the strongest and let us gave that old man what he deserves (**respect**)

Also He was strong in his Prime era. But he's old now. So the Old generation must be replaced.

Itachi is sure powerful ninja however manga proofs that saratubi hiruzen is strongest since he defeated both hashirama and tobirama at same time and I can't find any ninja could do that even itachi uchiha my favourite ninja

The only reason he defeated both The 1st and the 2nd at the same time was because they were being controlled by Orochimaru who had no idea of their true powers at that time. Hell, I dont think even Kishi had dreamt of a sage mode and a huge Buddha Statue summon for Hashi at that time.

Hashirama alone could easily own Hiruzen. Tobirama could maybe hold his own, but Im not sure. But Hashirama definitely blows Hiruzen out of the water.

That statement is in Past Tense.
And there's nowhere said that he's still the strongest because he's old now.
If you want to make a ranking when he was prime, I'll agree. But currently he isn't strong anymore.
