What's that supposed to convince me of? I'm not trying to discredit Hashirama's hype or his strength. Not even trying to, nor will I ever try and say Hiruzen > Hashirama or vice versa.

I'm just disproving your statements about how Hiruzen's hype is invalid.

Hiruzen beat Hashirama on panel, why can't people accept that. Hiruzen can beat any shinobi one-on-one, except Current-Naruto, Edo-Madara and Tobi.

That's not what the manga said. The manga clearly said Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage. Hashirama may have been a fairytale but how in anyway does that overrule the statement that Hiruzen was the strongest hokage?

How can someone be the strongest hokage but still be weaker than another one? You cannot deny manga facts.

People keep bringing up their interpretations of 'oh, Kishi has changed the stroyline'. Any of you got a transcript of that wonderful conversation you had with Kishi?

Hmm someone can be wrong can't they? Tobi said he was Madara in the manga just because it is said doesn't make it irrefutable fact, I'm not calling Iruka a liar but lying is possible. Plain and simply he was probably wrong he is just one character - he is describing the current Hokage who was much stronger than him and he never saw Hashirama fight. It is possible Hiruzen is god of shinobi to those shinobi who came after him, this would make sense.

@people saying the plot changed well they didn't have a conversation with Kishi of course but they are simply talking about what they are observing it is simply an observation that many have noticed.

Also just for the record in Part 1 the only time we see Hashirama his big jutsu was spawning a big forest and everybody was blown away. Times have changed a little seeing as how Kishi made Madara into this mammoth susano'o weilding, Rinnegan having, meteor launching berserker so his imagination has evolved a little bit. Judging from Madara's power exploits Hashirama was absurdly powerful as he has said. We HAVE seen Hiruzen struggle with Kurama whereas Hashirama could control him although we really didn't see Hiruzen get started he probably could have held his own against Kurama.

I am 100% sure that Kishi hyped Hiruzen that much because he was the current Hokage in part 1, his showcasing of Hiruzen was exaggerated. I believe that was a mistake by Kishi, just like how people think his explanation of Izanami was a mistake. Hiruzen should only be credited for the jutsus and techniques he has shown and been said to have. Also, about Hiruzen knowing all jutsu in Konoha, most of the people in Konoha are from a clan with a KG which are impossible for Hiruzen to know. So that right there proofs that statement was wrong

You have nothing to say that Kishi only did that because he was the current hokage. You have nothing to say that it was a mistake by Kishi. Kishi has had more than enough time to put out something contradicting Hiruzen's hype. He has never done such, and never will, because he has no reason to. Why? Because Hiruzen's hype doesn't need contradicting. It's completely fair. Even praised by a man who hated him, who also happens to be one of, if not the smartest ninja in the series in Orochimaru.

You have no reason to assume anything given Kishi has given us no reason to assume otherwise.

Kishi expects people to use common sense when it comes to statements he makes. Of course Hiruzen isn't going to know doujutsu techniques(which I stated, but you decided to ignore, I guess). Kakashi has copied over 1,000 unique techniqes in his what, 32, 33 years? However old he is? Why is it so hard to believe that a 69 year old man learned every non-doujutsu technique in Konoha? The man praised as God of Shinobi and Professor(again, statements that have never been argued against)...it's not hard to believe at all. He studied it, he wanted to learn it..and he did.

Kishi didn't expect to have such an immature, young fanbase, I don't guess. It just shows with your post, he expects people to use common sense, but they can't even do that. It's quite obvious that part 1 was a much more mature manga. Now we just have people shooting beams out their ass and people with special eyes who can create these giant guardians and all this bunch of crap. Might as well be reading Dragon Ball Z instead of Naruto.

Same goes with you, have we seen Hiruzens prime ? No. And a lot of you Hiruzen defenders says that Hiruzens prime was sick, but it wasn't. It makes me say that because that was impossible for someone to live this long to see Hashirama and Hiruzen cause of wars, years and other stuff... ( Well won't speak about Onooki Madara spared him ).

Well here you go guys, clearly this guy knows Kishimoto made a mistake in his own manga. You must know Kishimoto better than he knows himself! Dude.... It's even stated in the data books that Hiruzen was the strongest Hokage and in the manga you have Iruka and Kabuto stating he was as well. Until the new data books come out as far as I'm concerned Hiruzen > Hashirama.

The manga > Everything you may believe. Why do I need to see Hiruzen's prime if the manga has confirmed it for me? Moreover, looking at things leaves you open to opinions and your own interpretations, that's why you get people saying Minato > Itachi and Itachi > Minato. If the manga had said Minato > Itachi, and you'd never seen Minato fight, your telling me that you'd still say Itachi was stronger? I use manga facts, you use bullshit.
