What you said only makes Hashirama looks stronger.
Sarutobi when saw Kurama told everyone to wait for Minato... If he was such a strong old man as you say then he would be useful helping Minato handling Kurama and maybe, just maybe Naruto would have his parents alive...

It wasnt his duty, he was retired was the point of retiring AND NEED TO DO EVERYTHING YOURSELF! and he did got kurama out of the village so it didnt cause that much trouble.

Hashi is stronger than hiru, you know why? Because, do you think that hiruzen can handle the tailed beasts him alone? better think man. Madara is considered to be one of the greatest shinobi's and yet hashi defeated him. Don't just rely on what iruka said because he wasn't even alive at that time so he didn't see hashi's power. Common sense man! your'e the one who was selective. Only Hashirama can defeat madara. and if not, who will?

When they say he's the strongest there talking about the strongest of his time.. Madara doesnt know how powerful hiruzen was because he wasnt around to see hiruzen in his prime.

I do not know why people keep saying the 3rd hokage beat the 1st hokage the truth was 1st hokage was not at full power because oro could not unlock the flower world because when madara used the flower world of the 1st hokage tsunade said that they unlocked the flower world when oro first used the 1st hokage he did not use his flower world jutus

Has anybody ever considered the fact that when madara uses the hashirama's abitlities that they are amplfied because madara has the rasengan.. And kishi probally wasnt even thingin about the flower tree world in part 1, which is why we didnt see it.. he wanted to show something new with madara.

IMO hashirama was i believe hiruzens hype was just hype, theirs much more details and info thats implying that hashirama was the strongest

hiruzen was said to know and be able to perform all existing konoha jutsu. kekkai genkkai and hidden jutsus are just no. this alone proves that about 40% of hiruzens hype is a lie. alot of people love to bring up the fight hiruzen vs shodai and tobirama like that will prove anything. what if flower tree world and mokuton clones were used. hiruzen was having trouble against a nerfed hashirama so how would he take 25 of them? people have said that hiruzens powerlevel would change in part 2 and that would show hiruzen>hashirama and this is the so called god part 2 hiruzen we have seen:

so with all this evidence is hiruzen really the god we make him out to be with all the false hype. he isnt on hashiramas level, not even close even with the part 2 boost. please dont say oh hashiramas abilities are specifically designed for bijuu bla bla bla. people want to say hiruzen was the hokage but had no way of combating the villages tailed beast:sy: hiruzen has powers that can deal with a tailed beast but he just isnt strong enough obviously.

Hiruzen was worrying about the hokage, he wasnt worried.. I mean it is the hokages responsibility to protect the village, so im sure the WHOLE village was wondering where minato was, he was the best person to get the 9 tails away from the village.. Hiruzen was good enough to knock him out the village and that wasnt even his job.. props to the 3rd.

Nema and Hiruzen in their rpime would certainly be stronger than harishima. Hiruzen has nema, earth and fire style as well as the ability to combine styles.

Alright so my logic is this Hiruzen said that Minato was stronger than him. Therefore Minato>Hiruzen, now we have proved that Hiruzen is not the strongest Hokage.

Then we know that Minato stood a good chance but could not beat the masked man. Therefore Masked Man>Minato

Next is that whenever Kabuto reanimated the real Madara, the masked man got scared, or something like that. Therefore Madara>Masked Man

Now we know that Hashirama beat Madara. Therefore Hashirama>Madara.

And if we link all back together, then Hashirama>Hiruzen.

I may be wrong, I may be right. But it's just what I think.

doesnt seem that way, he seem to be using mokuton in ways he possibly would have seen it used by Hashirama. Afterall he did create the village's infrastructure with said abilities, so flower tree world shouldnt be outside of the range of his techniques.

his abilities were unique to him, down to his dna, not tacked on as in the case of amplified madara. dont think it would make sense for someone to simply be more efficient at using them for the first time

I know there are manga facts that say Hiruzen was the strongest kage and all but my biggest problem with that is we have seen NOTHING from him to suggest he was so powerful jutsu wise I get that he is old and all but even so if he was as powerful as he was hyped up to be he could have curb stomped Orochimaru no difficulty...now that I go n look him up he wasent even that old only 69

I say the first is stronger yes yes we havent seen much of him either but for the simple fact we know he defeated Madara + Kyuubi and how OP his wood release seems to be speak for itself

I just wanted to say he let himself get slapped around by both Orochimaru and the previous Kages. He thought he could stop Orochimaru's twisted heart, and he was disheartened to kill him. I know for a fact if he took that fight seriously from the start he would have disowned Orochimaru. I am with you that Hashirama's would still be op and superior, more because of his medical tech, and then his wood style and other proficiencies. Also, they did show his power,
