That's already happened. Kishomoto stated thos in all 3 databooks (which he obviously writes. xD)

Again, people think that just because we know more about Hashirama's strength than we used to, that it somehow negates over a decades worth of canon. That logic, I love it. /obvious sarcasm

At the end of the day it really comes down to which charter you like more. From what the manga says the 3rd is the strongest hands down. From what we've seen the 3rd in his prime would wreck any ninjas day. You must remember he beat Orochimaru, Hashirama & Tobimara AT THE SAME TIME.

Well, generally i believe the ninjas who are related to the sage of the 6paths bloodline are the strongest!(maybe exceptions like OOnoki and the 2nd Tshuchkage) . The senju bloodline is one of the six paths! HE also had two very significant abilities! He could control the tailed beasts and he could regenarate his injuries like tsunades whithout forming seals as long as he had power left! Also it is wise to presume that he must have been very knowledgable of sealing techs thanks to his wife uzumaki mito like the fourth was through kushina! But cuz i also like HIryzen i believe that his battle techs r still not very thorougly shown and most if the facts we have r from a very early stages of NAruto and they cannot offer good clues. Even the fight with 1 and 2 nd was too brief and not very detailed! Hashirama just used 2 or 3 techs and tobirama didnt even use his space-time techs! Also i think the strongest the ninja the more difficult for the EDo tensei user is to manipulate him totaly!

With all this talk about Hashirama (usually) and Hiruzen (currently), it seems that people tend to forget about Minato-sama.

In the first series of Naruto, it is clearly seen that Hiruzen is most afraid of the third coffin that arises to the command of Orochimaru, since it contains Minato in it. Other than that, just by looking at the way Minato dealt with Tobi during the Kyuubi attack on Konoha gives us quite a clear understanding about his abilities.

No doubt, Minato is my vote.

seriously part 1 was a complete fail and plot no jutsu, kishi had a sudden change of mind of how strong the kages were, i mean he sealed hashirama and tobirama without any problems??:shrug:
does that seem right i think not.

The obvious answer is that he was stronger than them.

The author of the series disagrees with you.

One thing I'll give you is that Hashirama and Tobirama were restricted by Orochimaru to some extent since he wiped their personalties and took control. It was the same power, but not their skills exactly. Like what Kabuto did to the 3rd Raikage when he took over. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that even though his skills were deemed to be far worse than they were in his prime (obviously), he defeated 3 Kage level shinobi.

I dont know but if we want to judge from the current manga fact i guess i will go for hashirama..

Hiruzen was awesome, there's no doubt of that but this is Hashirama we are talking about here. I don't think Hiruzen could have beaten Hashirama even when he was in his prime. I know Hiruzen would have had some awesome jutsu's and the chakra to back them up but we've seen what wood element can do. The tailed beasts are like little puppies to Hashirama. That's some awesome power.

If we could see Hiruzen in his "prime" then this might become a real close match but I think Hashirama would have his number personally.

Maybe Hiruzen Stronger than Hashirama but I think Hiruzen will hard to settle down the kyuubi than Hashirama. :shrug: :flaw:

nah its the first hokage kabuto himself called his power a fairy tail like the so6p. The only reason that the 1st and second was sealed because of the careless manipulation of orochimaru uchiha madara himself said that the 1st was a powerful ninja that his attacks were on a different scale .

He is round about the same age as oinoki, yet onoki can do much more than him even though onoki has mobility problems which saru dosent even have

Stop saying Hiruzen is his prime was strong, because you have never seen hiruzen in his prime fight a full scale battle so stop making fantasys

He allowed the uchiha clan masscuare and the hyga clan incident to go on resovled and just stood there as if he was powerless
