Pretty much this. I like Hiruzen's character and what he did, unlike "other" bandwagoners who jump onto other characters simply because they're powerful.

Feats will only add to his repertoire.

Yeah, Hiruzen was always kind and compationate and he even believed in orochimaru when he saw evil in him.
He gave his life to protect the village and cared for naruto personally when no one else could.

He loved everyone in the village including the uchiha and tried to think of other methods to stop them other then extermination.

He's awesome.

It's an ongoing manga. You're going to have people liking and disliking characters as time goes by. Not everyone bases their favorite characters on who most fits their ideals. Some enjoy following the "cool" or "powerful" character at the time. Nothing really wrong with it.

We're not degrading them in any way. In fact, we're doing the bandwagoners a service by accepting them when the time comes, and not gloating, etc.

What we're concerned about is the flip-flop nature of such readers. Far too many readers are impressionable these days.

If you feel that way then I salute you, but the way he's pointing this thread and list out is to distribute the "real fans" of Hiruzen and "bandwagoners" which is retarded.

I'm just saying to him if people start to get interested in a character than he and other people who don't like "bandwagoners" should just not shut them away to a different group, and accept them into your guys character fan space.

If people have to make a list to determine who's "been liking him from the beginning" instead of others than it's pure idiocy.
