Hiruzen possess all 5 nature alterations. He can neutralize any jutsu used versus him.
How is this possible?
Yata Mirror: "The substance-less spiritual shield. Endowed will all nature alterations, it changes its own attributes in response to the attacks it receives, making the jutsu ineffective."
Hiruzen can neutralize any jutsu used versus him because he has Yata Mirrors abilities.
Sasukes lighting style neutralized Deidaras explosive style. Why? Because one of its components was earth, that is weak against lightning. Even if the bloodline limit are completely new elements, they still hold the properties of the ones used to make them and can be neutralized by using an element that is strong versus one of its components but also not weak to the other.
Now who can neutralize anything again? Oh yeah, Hiruzen can because he can use all 5 elements.
Fire+Water=Boil Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it earth blast, an element strong versus water but not weak to fire.
Fire+Earth=Explosion Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with lighting blast, strong versus earth and not weak to fire.
Water+Wind=Ice Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with earth blast, strong versus water and not weak to wind.
Fire+Earth=Lava Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with lighting blast, strong versus earth and not weak to fire.
Wind+Fire=Scorch Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with water blast, strong versus fire and not weak to wind.
Water+Lighting=Storm Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with wind blast, strong versus lighting and not weak to water.
Earth+Water=Wood Style: Hiruzen neutralizes it with lighting blast, strong versus earth and not weak to water.
Earth+Fire+Wind= Dust Release: Hiruzen would need to make 2 shadow clones and neutralize this by using the same elements it is composed of, fire, earth, and wind to counterbalance it.
