Hiruzen [Prime] vs Itachi

I know all of those Tobi threads are getting annoying right about now so im here to give NB a good versus thread. Hiruzen's obviously no match aganist the gods of narutoverse right now such as Obito, Naruto and Madara but the question is can he beat someone like Itachi?

I think he can. We know nothing about Prime Hiruzen but im going to go by everything that was said and showed in part 1 here goes. Hiruzen was said to be a genjutsu master knowing 1000 illusions so breaking out of genjutsu should be no problem for him. Hiruzen was able to put paper bombs on the hokages without anyone knowing while fighting so his very fast even as a old man and his been said multiple times to have gotten much weaker so he might can dodge Amaterasu. Susanno would be his biggest problem due to the fact that it's almost impossible to destroy due to it having the Yata Mirror but unlike Sasuke's Susanno Arrows the Totsuka Blade and Yasaka Magatama have no speed feats so he can simply dodge them and tire him out until he losses all of his stamina and die.

But that's just my point of view on the fight give me yours.

Well im going by his feats in part 1 when he fought Oro and the hokages judging by his performance he most have been pretty strong in his prime since his said to be nothing like he was then.

Hashirama and Tobirama taught almost every technique they know to Hiruzen. Since both Hashirama and Tobirama fought against multiple Uchihas, they most likely fought many who had the MS. I wouldn't be surprised if they taught Hiruzen how to counter the Sharingan.

I'd really have to give this to Itachi

Tsukuyomi: Hiruzen was said to be a master of Genjutsu but this one is one of the most powerful Genjutsu of all, and I highly doubt that he has ever fought a user of this technique, so he likely won't be able to counter it, considering that it is said that only Sharingan users can counter it.
Amaterasu: This technique has only been countered by those very few people, and since Hiruzen is most likely not as fast as the Raikage, and since he doesn't possess techniques like Shinra Tensei or Obito's S/T, I think this tech would be a big problem for Hiruzen.
Susanoo: Hiruzen has been shown to be able to use some powerful fire and earth attacks, but since Itachi's Susanoo wields the Yata Mirror, most of Hiruzen's attacks would be rendered ineffective.

The Reaper Death Seal might be a problem but since Itachi's Susanoo would likely be able to prevent Hiruzen from coming close enough to Itachi to perform it, I don't think it'll be too much of a problem.

There is still obviously the problem regarding Itachi's low stamina, if Hiruzen could tire him out for long enough for Itachi to lose the Susanoo, he might have a chance, but I just don't see Hiruzen countering Amaterasu.
Obviously, we still haven't seen what Hiruzen is capable of in his prime, but based on what we've seen so far, I'd have to give this to Itachi. His techniques simply provide a very good counter against the techniques we've seen Hiruzen use.

Based on what? They both use seal jutsu, but Itachi uses them faster. Hiruzen's elements are earth and fire, and Itachi's are fire and water. Itachi's water counters fire, and he can also copy any fire jutsu that Hiruzen uses.

Simply because Itachi only has fire. He can only use water with water source. Hiruzen on the other hand is a master in ninjutsu called the God of Shinobi cuz of his mastery in every possible ninjutsu that existed in the leaf

Itachi has a "5" in ninjutsu mastery, so he can definitely use his suitons without a source. And that's a mistranslation concerning Hiruzen's arsenal. Hiruzen couldn't have mastered every jutsu used in Konoha, because he only had two elements and no kekkei genkai. However, Hiruzen knew of every jutsu used in the leaf, which is why he was called "the Professor." It was a knowledge aspect, not performance.
