Hiruzen only lost because of CIS

CIS = Character Induced Stupidity

In the fight before his death, his character was full of emotions. He was forced to fight his former masters and his former student to the death. He felt worse than Choji when he fought Asuma. Thus his personal feelings held him back to the point where he could not successfully defeat Orochimaru and tha boys. Surely, if Hiruzen had locked away his emotions, he would have sealed Orochimaru completely whether or not he had a sword in his back.

And don't even get started on PIS. There were a lot of plot based actions in that battle as well.

So stop saying this old fart is weak because he lost. This old man at age 70 can still poop on Tsunade.

He couldn't do that because of his Age and because he was stabbed through the chest with the Kusanagi blade, weakening him. I don't see how CIS or PIS is involved in this, and I don't see how Hiruzen could have pulled this off.
