I agree that what he did last chapter was epic. It was justified considering he was considered best of the Kages of his time, but I wouldn't jump on his bandwagon just because he did something cool in one chapter. By now we can say that he is the best when it comes to fundamentals. His feats revolves around the mastery of the basics. Like henge, clone jutsus, and the five basic elements.

People seem to not remember multiple characters early on in the show saying Hiruzen lost his touch because of his age but still praised him cause of the wonders he did while in his prime.

Another note Hashirama Tobirama and Minato were killed not in old age but in their prime years reason why their edo's are godlike. Hiruzen is still an old person in his edo. He didn't have the luxury of being modified back to his prime like Madara was by Kabuto.

Not a fanboy as you can clearly see by the profile pic and Sig. But I see into things clearer than most.

I'm still stunned at how people needed this to tell them that he is an incredible hokage. Hashi and Tobi were speed blitzed by Obito yet no one said they sucked when that happened. When the tree came out no one was able to save Naruto but Hiruzen came to the rescue with his power pole, when that happened no one remarked how he was able to do so. Now that all of the Kages have no chakra and he's fighting spiral zetsu 1on1 everyone says he's good now. NAH he was good when he fought Oro, weaker Tobi, weaker Hashi, and was fighting the effects of being in his old age. They don't give the title "God of Shinobi" to anyone.
