Just cause we have not seen his feats doesn't automatically mean his hype is wrong. In fact it will be funny to see the haters reactions when his feats will make him look like a god. Only Hashirama, Hiruzen and SO6P have been given the title God Of Shinobi which means Hiruzen must of been something. It also means that Hiruzen has never lost that titlle, it just means he also holds the title. . Kishi already implied that he is powerful, right at the end of the chapter when the Hokages jumped on their stone faces it called the Hokages the Strongest Soilders. This includes Hiruzen. This means that he is also at their level. Please stop underestimating the old man.

bro i said it once and i'll say it a million times, people will always look at the FLASHY jutsu and will cling to feats alone (turning this to calculations) without even trying to look at how the writer view's his characters (how kishi rates them, believe it or not a lot of times the hype is logical ) turning a character into a mindless pile of jutsu that each person can arrange/view differently. Hiruzen is one of the strongest shinobi's ever lived (the strongest in my book but i wouldn't mind someone saying hashirama is the strongest coz that is also possible) but, don't let it bother you, it won't go away, just enjoy the manga. *_*
