not arguing hiruzen being powerful......but that first scan dosent show a jutsu nullifying tech. that third coffin was the fourth hokage,who couldnt be summoned due to using the rds.........a tech suck as the one you spoke of has not been shown in the manga

This is not a ninjutsu neutralizer. Hiruzen's sensei was Tobirama, and Hiruzen has extensive knowledge on Edo Tensei, and apparently knows the seals to undo it.

Minato's coffin would have appeared but not work, Hiruzen simply stopped it from appearing, not knowing if the summoned would have worked or not.

The jutsu still exists. It's validated as Hiruzen himself stated that he has stopped the coffin. The clapping of his hands indicates that a certain jutsu has been activated.

I have a question? Everyone is saying that the third coffin was minato's coffin, but why couldn't it have been Madara. If Orochimaru and Kabuto knew about the history of Obito and Madara, it could have been Madara in the coffin and not Minato.

Orochimaru is a true genius according to the manga, meaning that he would have known that minato's soul was sealed in the reaper death seal jutsu, and cannot be summoned. Thus it doesn't make sense that he would try to summon minato.

If it was Madara being summoned, I can understand Hiruzen being scared, because all of the shinobi world at that time would have shat themselves if they had to face Hashirama, Tobirama, Madara and Orochimaru at the same time.
