It was never stated that they created the actual "Jutsu" that Minato used.

It stated it was sealing Jutus, although we don't know if they had to sacrifice to summon it similar ways to Orochimaru. Minato could of created it so he could use it whenever wanted, instate of actually having to use a stone/tablet.

It's just speculation although, the manga doesn't disprove my hypothesis.

True true and don't get me wrong Enma or whatever the monkey's name is strong and all....but when u look at jiraya, minato, orochimaru, tusnade and naruto's summonings arent they way stronger than enma? in addition those who have large chakras can summon huge summonings but i do know the 3rd had lots of chakra too..don't these amazing summonings kinda make the monkey look bad?

Anyway, yeah, his summoning is small compared to them, but you have to remember that he is considered the professor so the monkey must be just as smart as him which would make a formidable duo. He didn't need to summon a large animal because his fighting style I guess was close combat? I don't know. I wish we could see Enma more though, like if someone else like konohamaru could learn to summon him, that would be pretty cool.

def he does have the strength in his staff form to push the ninetails so he is formidable

Hiruzen with unlimited chakra reserves will easily surpass Edo Hashi and Edo Madara together. I firmly believe that.

obvioulsy no one has more chakra than edos because they got unlimited and humans not even special ones or tailed beasts helping them get unlimited
