He's only used 5 elements so we don't know Hiruzen's level of genjutsu. Genjutsu is a Yin hiden element while ocular genjutsus like a sharingan/Rinnegan is Yin release KKG from the Sage.

:lol I just said that. I was clarifying for you that there are two different types of Yin which is the kekkai genkai and the Hiden one. Hiruzen who has the non kkg Yin element has never used a genjutsu once.
Because of that we don't know his level of Yin element.

The fact that Oro had to use Edos of the the Hokages to fight a Hiruzen that was nearly 80 years old should tell you how strong Hiruzen was in his prime.
