I couuld see the possibility of this if used at the right spot ater enough damage has been dealt. i do not think on its own by a sole user could use it to chop down the chakra tree. Im guessing the tree would fall to brute strength attacks ccombined. such that of the raikage tsunade and other melee based taijutsu ninjas. but this is all meaningless as plot no jutsu will probably have the tree activate cast tsukyiomi.

naruto will probably fall down and awake in a room and itll be in the leaf after its fully constructed and hes been anmed hokage or something and all his dreams will come true then after 8 weeks of some fishy things here and there kurama will finally wake naruto up and itll be that he esacped the infinate tsukiyomi and him and bee will finally fight obito who some how defeated the edo madara and since the edo kages where released as well while oro was in the tsukiomyi yada yada yada.

But if you're referring to the technique, then no. Hirudora is not a technique from the 8 Gate, and 8 Gate gives the power to surpass a Kage. Madara defeated 5 kages in solo mode. How to you expect then the Juubi Jinchuuriki being defeated with that technique?

Then I'll counterargument.

The Hachimon Tonkou Technique function is to open the nodes that connects the chakra network wires, so the chakra can flow freely at max speed in the chakra network system.

In other words, contrary to what people believes about these techniques not using chakra, I believe the Tree would suck up all the chakra of a 8-Gates user if it gets near the Tree, just because of the power source behind the technique.

Look at the battle of Lee vs Gaara, that's the source supporting my statement.

You should remember that when the Hachimon Tonkou is activated, chakra flows at high speed through chakra network, and the stress where the body is put under is extended. If some chakra could damage the user, imagine how much damage could do THAT quantity of chakra (even I'm considering the fact that KC regenerates, but the amount and the quality of that chakra could destroy the user in this case because the stress is boosted too).

So if Guy opens the 8 Gates and this technique virtually kills the user, I can assure you... KCM 8-Gates is a dead user before the first hit connects.

i agree BUT hirudora is not chakra based and it has a range to it
