This chapter confirms something about the Hiraishin no Jutsu being superior to the Kamui.

While Kamui needs to spend chakra proportionally to the thing that is being transported to the other dimension, it seems like Hiraishin always uses the same quantity of chakra (or it spends as much chakra as the size of the transported target).

Logic:

Kakashi needed Kurama's chakra to transport Hachibi with Kamui. With his original levels he couldn't achieve that.

Minato transported Kurama's Bijuu-dama with his Hiraishin, without even being a Jinchuuriki (Konoha's attack by Masked Man).

Minato transported a Juubi Bijuu-dama with his Hiraishin when he arrived the battlefield, in his normal mode.

And now Tobirama without any buff was able to transport a Juubito's Bijuu-dama with his no-sweating attitude.

Conclusion: Kamui is far more versatile than the Hiraishin Jutsu, but Kamui needs way more chakra to be executed. Hiraishin is cheaper for bigger things.

Though ask the question, does it depend on the size of the attack or the amount of chakra within the attack itself. If it's the former then Minato has a much better feat. If it's the latter Tobirama has a better feat, this is due to the fact that obito's attack created a massive explosion and was so small, like Naruto's early rasengans.

Obviously the size. If it depended on the concentration of chakra, then Minato has a better feat too, coz he freaking teleported Kyuubi, which said to be a mass of chakra with no buffs. I'm pretty sure that you won't say that the lil bijuu dama>Kyuubi in chakra.

Haha nope I don't think I would. Then again it's from a ten tails host and not the kyuubi. So who who knows really. :)

But in the other hand, Kamui needs lot of chakra to transport a Bijuu... :) so in any case Hiraishin is still cheaper.

Why would it be considered cheaper then? Why would it be a cheap jutsu if it's more effective?
