Eminem is already a shadow of his former self. His raps now pale in comparison to his raps in his prime.
<3 This is exactly what I think. If that be the case, look at the name of Rock and tell me what images that bring up for ya. :|
Off-topic: I hate that fans of Hip-hop generally hate Rock and vise-versa. It's all a matter of preference, you don't like it, fine. Don't post in a thread about it downing it, just for the means of post-count raising. It'd take you the same amount of time to go to the chatterbox and do the same thing. =/
On-topic: Hip-hop never died. Just like all things in the world and all forms of the world, it changed and adapted to the world it's in now. You can look at it's history and see the numerous changes and time-periods it went through. Social conscious music, Gangsta Rap, Snap music, jerk music, etc. As long as there are still musicians making hip-hop music, it'll never die, just the sub-genre of Hip-hop that you liked might die. :|
I agree with this. Relapse and Recovery, particularly the latter, might be good but compared to The Slim Shady LP or Encore, it falls short.Eminem is already a shadow of his former self. His raps now pale in comparison to his raps in his prime.
Thank you. ^w^<3 This is exactly what I think.
Are you alive?was it ever alive?
Do you think Encore>Recovery?I agree with this. Relapse and Recovery, particularly the latter, might be good but compared to The Slim Shady LP or Encore, it falls short.
good for you. I wasn't askin for your opinion so I don't care. His spirit and music might not die but the man himself will. It's inevitable. I'm more interested on his views of Hip-hop after Marshall Mathers pass. Will he continue to listen to Eminem or will he adapt and choose newer music by newer artists?
Sidenote: The Way I Am, even 25 To Life, is a better song than that one to me.
Tbvh, it kinda depends on the individual songs on each CD. I like Encore as a whole more, but certain songs on Recovery are sonically better to me than on Encore.Do you think Encore>Recovery?
Good for you. I also wasn't asking for your opinion so I don't paricularly care much. =/ No offence.good for you. I wasn't askin for your opinion so I don't care.
this song reflects how I feel towards people.
haha naw I read it correctlyTbvh, it kinda depends on the individual songs on each CD. I like Encore as a whole more, but certain songs on Recovery are sonically better to me than on Encore.

Those songs I named reflect how I myself feel towards others as well. Which is why I put it as a sidenote and added to words "to me". Apparently, your indifference to my comment blinded you from reading it correctly. Once more, no offence.![]()

Oh, okay then xDhaha naw I read it correctly
I'm just tellin you that if you're going to quote me you better be easy on what you say.
Excuse how crazy this may sound but despite them being bad, I like those songs. O_O To elaborate, I liked the older Eminem when he still used the Slim Shady persona and he acted crazy and spitted the most random stuff but still was dope. His newer music sounds more of a giant inspirational cd than the Eminem I knew growing up so I initially didn't like it that much. I'll admit that lyrically it's better than Encore but the songs on Encore always connect with me more than Recovery.Encore has some terrible songs on it though. Songs like Just Lose It, Big Weenie, and My First Single are just embarrassing. Recovery has some bad songs too but nothing as bad as those.
Everyone likes different things so it's not crazy lol. It's just I don't know many people who like Encore more than Recovery. I like the Slim Shady days the best too but I dunno if I would put Encore into that category. He kind of started going in a different direction starting with The Eminem Show. Encore does have some good songs but I think Recovery is better overall. Just opinions though.Oh, okay then xD

That sounds retarded but it's my thoughts on them both xd I agree with your post completely though.
Nigga Please =\Hip hop is dead. :/
Modern Rock is dead. Modern Rap still lives on.Lets compare all the good old rock, to all the good old hip-hop. Who was more popular. THEN, get off Hip-Hop's **** U_U
the old eminem talked about his life stories. with relapse, eminem admitted that songs like beautiful and we made you are the only legit songs, the rest was bullshit.Oh, okay then xD

Why do you ask if Hip-hop was ever alive?why, yes, yes I am
why do you ask?
I think I agree with you on everything non Naruto related.to me, all of eminem's albums except encore and relapse were great, even infinite. back then, he was a rapper doing something different, a crazy son of a bitch that everyone loved, now, hes just killing people on his tracks, as he said in recovery hes now "spewing his hate to these broads"
He's a Rock and Roll guy, of course he'd say that. Why do you ask if Hip-hop was ever alive?
