Hip hop scored the highest average "vocabulary size," with 1,963 words and 478 words used per song and 94 new words per song. Coming in second place was heavy metal, with a vocabulary size of 1,533.
At the bottom of the list are pop and electronic, with respective vocabulary sizes of 1,188 and 852.

Doesn't surprise me. Hip-Hop will always be a superior genre.

I suppose so.

Hip-hop is dead though, the nonsense we get today ain't hip-hop, merely pretension

Are they including the made up words too? Like geechie, mambo rambo, guala, milly, or rollie? I'm pretty sure everything Yung Thug says is a new made up word.

It has a fast tempo which allows them to squeeze in twice as many words into their "songs".
