Normally being a Hyuga meant that she keeps her last name, but if she wanted to she could change it to Uzumaki since Naruto has a higher status than the noble families and his clan is also one of the noble families.

Where are you getting this information? It is simply customary in multiple countries for wives to take their husband's name. Where are you getting this stuff about status and nobility? Before NaruHina, we had not seen any Hyuuga get married before, so we don't know about any name changing nobility laws or anything like that.

Lol no, Himawari has a Byakugan and Boruto is talented with taijutsu.... but Uzumaki and Hyuga are both noble families so either name wouldn't matter, Naruto has the highest status in Konoha and he's stronger so logically his kids would keep his last name instead of Hinata's.

Seriously, since when does strength and status have anything to do with last name? I can perhaps see the status thing in ancient periods, but I have never heard of combat ability determining last name.

Actually he would have given Naruto the Uzumaki name because Uzumaki clan are one of the noble families. It's a social status thing

Not how it works in NarutoVerse. In a lot of countries also, wives take the husband's name.
