Your right I take that back about the Hyuga having brown hair I was looking over it just now, both Neji and Hanabi also have Black hair in the manga as do Hiashi and Hizashi. The anime made their hair brown. The others also have dark hair could be black or brown.

Hamura's chakra is worded in the film strangely, but those who are his descendants (aka the Hyuuga/Toneri-Otsutsuki) have his blood. Which allows them to counter the Tenseigan/Alter, also giving them the potential to have the Tenseigan if matched with Otsutsuki's powers.
What Hamura did is show Hinata the truth behind Toneri's plan, but he didn't give her any power boost. Otherwise she would of been able to destroy it on her own lol.

Listing abilities and listing affinities are two different things try to keep up.
Naruto being a half-Uzumaki has nothing to do with him not getting Rennigan, just as Sasuke not getting SPSM isn't proof of him being half Uchiha. Rennigan is exclusive to Uchiha side while Tenseigan is exclusive to Ootsutsuki side.
The fact that Naruto(1/2 uzumaki) gets the sage chakra and doesn't awaken the Rinnegan is proof wnough
