I like how this is considered heroic but Sakura defeating a small form of the juubi is considered nothing, smh.
I like how the base always falls into this dumb form of discussion.
Kinda like: "Yeah Sakura restoring Naruto was a nice help, but why are you underrating Hinata who slapped Naruto back into sense?"
In what way, exactly, complimenting Sakura/Hinata implies underrating or bashing Hinata/Sakura? Well, that's a mystery, but people keep assuming that it does.
At least it is equally distributed:
True love goes against the odds Hinata knew She could not win but love says try no matter what. Sakura knows not of true love She never put Her life on the line unless She figured She can Win. Sakura has never cross the bridge Hinata did. So She dosen't know what true love is.
Kinda like when Naruto went four-tails and mad and Sakura rushed to him? She did that because she was sure she was safe from any form of harm, right? Or when she tried every way to face Sasuke on his own and make Naruto just quit trying with him... she was sure she could stomp Sasuke, otherwise she would have gone hinding under a rock for sure. Or maybe all this are just BSs?
Sakura is a passionate character. She's not sensitive, but she is passionate. And brave. Not giving her credit for this is pretty much contradicting the manga.
I also like how it's just logic as a whole that collapses when Sakura or Hinata are involved (kinda like Itachi and Minato):
Anyone from his friends could have stepped in and "died" in front of Naruto and made him transform, so Hinata's contribution is at best minimal.
Her contribution is minimal, that is for sure. Every friend of Naruto or possibly even a innocent villager could have achieved the same. That doesn't make the attempt less heroic. The intentions of an act are not measured by the result of the act, unless you want to say that the 5 Kages facing Madara was nothing but the idiotic effort of five morons who cannot understand their place.
However, now, I'll concentrate over a post that is actually worth some thoughts:
This is truly one of Hinata's shinning moments (besides her slapping Naruto back to reality) For some reason though, whenever I look at her, I feel bad for her xD I dunno why, but maybe it's her soft voice and appearence? Personally, she reminds me of how I was when I was young which I guess why I pity her in ways. As much as I like NaruSaku by a tiny bit more, whenever I see Hinata, I feel she truly deserves him more, especially since she was always there in Naruto's time of need. She is a indeed a sweetie and I do hope he recognizes her after all she did for him, both mentally and physically. If Naruto doesn't, then imo, he personally doesn't deserve her. In fact, it's the very reason he doesn't notice her in ways like that, that makes me resent the pair. It'd ot because of Hinata but because Naruto's sheer stupidity. Then again, these guys are only 16 years old but still, Naruto should have some common sense. Not Hinata's fault she goes after a guy who is in love with Sakura who then loves Sasuke...Oh wtf....
You know miss, I beg to differ. The main issue is that Naruto HAS aknowledged her many times. He has already declared that he admires her, is grateful to her, and feels affection for her. Despite this, he still appears to love Sakura. Naruto knows well enough Hinata's virtues and worth but it seems he just cannot reciprocate her feelings. When thinking of pairings, what makes me doubt of Naru x Hina (which would be my favorite) is not some sentece by Minato or some obscure interpretation, but rather the fact that Naruto really makes friggin' blatant that he is not in love with her since the very start and up until now.
