So Young Hinata vs Young Obito.

Versions: Hinata after her Chunin exam but not quite part 2. Obito is seconds before a rock crushed him, so just fully awakened his Sharingan.

Edit NOTICE: This Hinata is not right after the Chunin exams. It's definitely before Naruto comes back but a significant amount of time has passed since the Chunin exams.

No intel on each other.

Setting is a clearing in a forest somewhere.

Fight is till one cannot fight anymore or yields.


I think Hinata could pull it off...Then again, Tobi was able to take out a fully grown man...albeit by surprise...kinda like a kid jumping out of a cupboard and stabbing a man in the back...not a real duel.

İf it was part 2 Hinata; i would say she would win but Hinata after chuunin exams would probably get defeated but not solely for sharingan; chuunin Obito's katon techs might pull it off; and this version of Hinata neither has air palms for defense or 8 triagrams 64 palms to attack. Not to mention lower foot speed.

She doesn't have air palms, but she does have the gentle fist fighting style basics down and would probably be in the process of learning the air palms.

And even at this stage, she can block chakra points.

Hinata beats him low diffuculty.She run towards him and she beats him in taijutsu.She is more intelligent than him.Her taijutsu is way better than his.And if there is a time pass after the chunin exam it is easy to say that she is stronger and faster than him.Obito can do nothing but watch desperately while she is running towards him and beat him with her fists and kicks.Result:She stomps him

Hinata did not show airpalms after chuunin exams; even if she is somehow in the process of learning at such stage, she did not show the Technique at that point of time.

8 triagrams 64 palms is required for blocking all chakra points; she just had the basic hits of gentle fist back then; and did not have the ability to see tanketsu (chakra points) like Neji's byakugan; she could see through the flow.

Besides; landing a full hit blow on Obito would not be easy for her; especially when her speed is not so great and Obito had long range attacks. Not to mention sharingan; who would allow him to have precog advantage against Hinata.

obito wasnt a chunin for no reason. sharingan made him able to trash a shinobi who was kicking even kakashi's ass. at that point in time i believe obi was the stronger one of the two
