Hinata has more range and precision but Sakura has more raw power and is a medic. I give this to Hinata although Sakura isn't even suppose to be a frontline fighter.

Basically this. Sakura has to get close to attack while hinata's air palm is mid range, hits vitals and invisible. When sakura gets hit (she will after all she has no means to see it coming) she will be knocked off her feet and forced to heal herself giving hinata the chance to do it again or get in close and seal her chakra. One sakura's chakra is sealed there goes her strength and any potential she had as being a threat.

Her family's entire technique relies on balance and footing, an earth tremor is not going to leave her flat on her back for 3 minutes until sakura gets an OP powerup like the rest of her team.

Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm is mid-range. This was a close call for me, i think it can go either way. Sakura is one of the most underrated characters but Hinata's byakugan shouldn't be underestimated since it actually puts Sakura at a disadvantage comparing both fighting styles.

People saying hinata loses is forgetting that hinata is a mid ranged fighter as well as close ranged. If sakura can't see vaccum palm coming then it won't occur to her to dodge the attack, furthermore since sakura is not an expert healing ninja it will take her a while to recover from gentle fist wounds as they are internal, blocking her chakra points will disturb the way she uses her chakra to power up her punches. Not to mention sakuras attacks are too linear and burtal, she will never catch hinata with such slow salvage movements

People underrate Sakura and overrate Hinata too much.

Hinata =/= Neji, she still doesnt have 64 palms, and her speed and power is significantly weaker. Heck even the data book says Sakura is faster.

Also Sakura has not only super strength, also sleep bombs and poisoned kunai.

Sakura is a medical ninja first, and taijutsu user second. She packs one hell of a punch but basic attacks will not work against Hinatas byakugan. Actually, when you think about it, Hinatas byakugan trumps everything Sakura can throw at her.
