I sat and watched an old episode of Naruto when Hinata jumped in to fight Pein. She was such an idiot, for trying to get those rods out Naruto instead of taking down Pein. Now I seen where she actually gained an advantage when she hit Tendo Pein with her twin lion fist, but instead of staying on Pein, she went to free Naruto and let Pein regain control. I honestly believe she could have stopped Pein if she woulda used her head a lil more. How many agree?

it wasn't canon in the manga.. the animators added it into the animation.. but I agree she could've done something more and less.

hinata isn't such strong to stand against pain-sama (the one who destroyed konoha in 5 minutes). she's much smarter than trying to defeat pain-sama

That didn't happen in the manga. She appeared and almost died immediately.

Though if you take it into scenario, I don't think she could've won. Pain was just temporarily disabled. He'd regain his strength and win almost instantly.

Hinata is one of my favorite characters, but Pain/Nagato is just too much to handle.

Hinata is trash before a God; She did not even understand Pain. Only those who understand the true meaning of Pain. . Can stand up to Pein.

That was filler scene, in the manga she went against him and was defeated within seconds. So there is nothing she could've done.

Hinata has improved A LOT but to fight the 6 Paths of Pein is a bit too much.

The problem here was that she never actually had this fight.

Manga wise she was about to use Soshiken, but got Tensei'd to the ground.

However anime wise...yeah she theoretically could have won. If her Juuken disrupted the chakra link from the Pein Receptors he'd technically be done...and considering Pain took until she reached Naruto to recover....I'd say that could have been bad for Pain.

Just thinking....considering moves like rasengan kill...I guess her Juuken would have just killed him too. Hard to say because he's a corpse and all.

Manga wise: NOPE

Anime wise: Yeah assuming Soshiken is a move that completely wrecks the chakra system (causing a major failure in networks, organs, and the signal from Nagato)

Hinata had no chance from the start. Her specialty is taijutsu, which requires getting within extremely close range to her opponent. Such a feat is near impossible against Deva Path.

Meh .. That part was filler .. But even if she had focused on Pain she wouldn't have beat him .. Since in the manga that was what she had done .. Lol .. Hinata was basically a trigger to unleash the Kyubi .. It wasn't her big moment to shine or anything lol .

You guys are only looking at strength and experience. It takes more than strength and experience. A weaker person can always use their weakness for an advantage. Naruto didn't even stand a chance...he was on the verge of being captured.
