Hidan's tanking feats are irrelevant against the gentle fist, as Kakashi said that no matter how strong one's outer body is, they can never train their inner organs to become stronger, so gentle fist attacks will always have the same result on every body.

Hinata's air palm is much stronger now, so it should work.

Nah, Hidan is moderately faster than her and better than her in CQC (Went toe to toe with Asuma,) not to mention his scythe can be used as a mid ranged weapon to keep Hinata at bay. Once she gets hit it's over.
