I think even though If I were to give the best arguments against this BS, it’s not going to change a thing because this kind of statement is not even an argument. It’s a cheap way of bashing, showing a lack of consideration to the manga itself, and trying to cling to things which were created outside of the story (AKA fanfic) just to make some fun of Hinata…

Has Naruto ever been shown to want Hinata to back away from him? Has Naruto ever looked threatened or scared due to Hinata’s apparent “stalker” tendencies?

So here is another question question, how is Hinata harmful to Naruto?
The answer is this, she isn’t, she would never be able to hurt him, emotionally, physically and mentally. In fact, it is the exact opposite, Hinata always tries to help Naruto.

If Hinata was a stalker like people claim, Naruto would be uncomfortable around Hinata, but in the end he seems to like her presence, and he smiles a lot around her, going so far as to open up to her about his insecurities when he had only just met her.

Hinata has initiated communication with Naruto in the Written exams, the Naruto VS kiba aftermath, The proud Failure chapter, In the Itachi Pursuit arc when they’re paired together, Her confession, The Madara’s Return chapter, The Alliance arrives chapter, and the NaruHina handhold chapter and all throughout THE LAST movie. This is not the kind of thing a stalker would do.

Naruto has said he really likes Hinata as a person (the way she is), He’s Made a promise on her blood to avenge her, and did so, Has shown to be less tense and instead cheerful when she is around , he has cried over her well being and prayed for her safety, He is able to read her thoughts simply by looking at her and helps her overcome her insecurities, and he himself has initiated hand holding with her more than once. The Last also has them sharing a kiss and years later getting married and having children.

Now answer these, if you truly do believe Hinata is a stalker-

1) Show me moments where Naruto was bothered by Hinata’s presence. Chapter 437 due to him being worried for her safety does not count.
2) Show me moments where Naruto felt threatened by Hinata’s presence.
3) Show me moments where Hinata has thought about doing something that could be remotely considered harmful towards Naruto.
4) Show me moments where Hinata has been bothered by any of Naruto’s friends or even remotely jealous of him spending time with them instead of her.
5) Tell me why Naruto seems to think Hinata is such a great, strong and incredible person just the way she happens to be—as no one likes a stalker.

Why do people still hold onto things that characters did when they were children. Sakura made fun of the fact that Naruto was a orphan, but she was a child at the time, people still hold it against her 10-15 years later.
Most of the Rookies(Shikamaru, Kiba, Shino) disliked and found Naruto annoying as a children, they all grew out of it, but I never seem to see anyone calling them out on that. I'm assuming this must be a shipper related sort of thing.
